I can’t believe it is already February 28th! Spring is right around the corner. To wrap up Heart Health Month, I’d like to add one more food to the heart to the list…CHOCOLATE!
Cocoa is full of antioxidants and flavanols which may help reduce the risk of heart disease and lower cholesterol. Here is one of my favorite (heart-healthy) hot cocoa recipes:
1 cup of milk (I use skim or 1%)
1 Tablespoon of organic cane sugar
1 1/2 Tablespoon of Ghirardelli unsweetened cocoa powder
Put in the slow cooker at put on high until it is hot (about 1-2 hours). Then keep it on warm so you can serve at any time!

Absolutely love this hot cocoa. It is great to put your pajamas on and fix an old fashioned cup of cocoa!!
I almost never comment, however after browsing through a bunch of comments here
And, if you are posting on additional social sites,
Hot Chocolate! (Heart Health Food #11). I actually do
have 2 questions for you if you do not mind.
Could it be simply me or does it look like some of these comments look like they are written by brain dead
folks?
I would like to follow anything fresh you have to post. Would
you make a list of the complete urls of all your social sites
like your twitter feed, Facebook page or linkedin profile?
